Dash mechanic

Alright so right now I am learning Flowlab. Lately I've been working on top down rpg mechanics and I was wondering how to make a dash mechanic with a cool-down. Could somebody tell me how to make a cool-down. I tried with timers and switches but I am having trouble with it


  • Get a value for walking, and tie it into velocity or impulse or whatever you're using.

    Then get another value for sprinting and tie it into walking's "set" input! Then anytime that sprint value receives input you'll start sprinting!

    Then get a reset value for when you want him to walk again and also tie it into walking's set input! Make it the same number as walking!
